BIOGRAPHY

I trace my journey of singing to when I was a little girl. I was inspired by my mother and maternal grandmother. Every morning, my grandmother  sang and praised God. Her psalms and hymns were very moving. Even though I was a young girl, I could tell she loved God passionately. Their love for God touched me and drew me to God. Throughout my growing years, I sang at church, at school choirs, and at home with my cousins Catherine, Charlene, Lilian, and Soni. I am not ashamed to mention their  names because when we gather, we still sing together. I cherish each one of them. Through singing, I express myself to God.  Music is my means of talking to God.

 

I started writing music in 2010. I released my first Album - HE IS GOD -  in 2014. In 2014, I was going through some difficult situations. I sang to the Lord from His Word. The songs helped me to pray in line with God’s Word. They helped me to confess the Word of God. These are the songs you will find in the music that I record. In 2015, I released my second Album - NEW DAY.
During this period of great trials in my life, I learned to be still and wait on God. When we stand still and wait on the Lord, He helps us see the bigger picture. By stillness, our mind becomes clear and we are able to see God's plan for us. God's plan is always good. 

 

I discovered that “Being still and know that I am God” is not just a saying, it is a state of being. It is the ability to know God well enough to TRUST in His abilities to rescue you. As we learn to be still and trust in God, we come to know and understand that we are God’s children. We are never alone, never unaided, and never forgotten. He will come to us. All it takes is for us to be still and know that HE IS GOD.

I never ever thought I would one day record music or even stand in front of people to sing my own music. I give thanks to God for enabling me. God brought me out of the difficult situations and gave me songs. It is these songs that I now share with you..

 

God has changed my life. Through my singing, God has delivered me and the people I was praying for. He has restored my health. He has healed the sick I was praying for. He has given me joy. Fear has been taken away from me. I have seen God's faithfulness and I have chosen to praise and worship Him all the days of my life. I would like to encourage someone who is going through a tough situation. Look to God. Put ALL your trust on Him. It doesn't matter how big your problem is. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can think or imagine. God is able to change your story, and give you a new song.
